How to use the connectors, mounts, carriers and the orange fizzling parts?
Congratulations on your unique starter set! We’re thrilled to have you as a valued customer here at Marblelous. Now, allow us to provide you with a brief summary of how you can make use of the connectors, mounts and carriers within the starter set.

Connectors
Connectors (from left to right): basic connector, elevated connector, 45 degrees outside bend connector, 45 degrees inside bend connector, 90 degrees outside corner and 90 degrees inside corner.
Basic connector
This little pin lets you link straws together to make a long track, with one straw connected after the next one. But it’s optional. You don’t have to use it all the time, you can also build your marble track completely or partially in a stair-like fashion (check image below).

Elevated connectors
This slightly longer piece has a bend, which not only connects the straws but also creates a small drop, giving your marble a little speed boost.
Corners (inside and outside 90 degrees)
This rectangular corner connector allows you to create perfect bends in your marble track.
You should always use the long and short connectors together. The longer connector is for the outside of the curve, and the shorter one is for the inside.

Sometimes you want a smoother turn, not a sharp corner. That’s why we made these 45-degree bends. Like the 90-degree ones, you use a long and short piece together. The long one goes on the outside of the curve, and the short one on the inside.
Mounts
Transparent suction mounts
The transparent suction mounts (alternatively known as suction cups) are designed to attach components such as (base) connectors, fixed and adjustable carriers. These mounts adhere to smooth surfaces, including but not limited to glass, mirrors, and whiteboards. For optimal adhesion and longevity, it is recommended to slightly wet the surface of the suction mount before application.

Colored suction mounts
The colored suction mounts are made just for the Piranha and the Alligator. They have a smaller opening, so the corresponding animal mount fits tighter. This helps keep the Piranha and Alligator’s mouths in place, there where they’re supposed to be, even when many marbles go in and out!
Multi-mounts
The multi-mount is your go-to for combining LEGO® (not included) with your marble run. Build simple LEGO® pillars or create entire towns for your marbles to explore! You can even stick them to slightly rough walls with adhesive putty or removable mounting gum (not included) on the back of the multi-mount. Just be gentle with delicate surfaces like wallpaper.

Multi-mount
Ground mounts
These can be stuck into the ground like tent pegs, so you can build your marble run anywhere! Try the grass or even a plant pot, allowing you to build your marble run indoors or outdoors.

Carriers
Basic carriers
The carriers let you connect two straws, side by side, which then would look a little bit like a train track on which the marble can roll perfectly. You can also use them in addition to the fixed carriers, creating extra strong and smooth tracks.
Fixed carriers
This component functions similarly to the basic carriers. But this one has a special pin on the side that fits into the suction mounts or multi-mounts, so you can attach your tracks to walls, objects, or even LEGO®!

Adjustable carriers
This carrier is similar to the fixed one, but it has a flexible part in the middle.
You can bend it to create different angles, not just 90 degrees. This is great for uneven surfaces like slanted walls or vases.

Triangle carriers
These triangle carriers let you connect three straws at once! They let you build cool tunnels for your marbles to safely roll through and are super sturdy too, perfect for building bridges or even for fast, straight drops!
